"The minorities"?

So Steve and Victoria Hyman who own a company called 415 Brunswick Street, L.L.C., and do not like the way Mayor Healy has fought an building on an embankment are spending $150 large of their company's cash to oust Healy in Tuesday's election and Steve Hyman says he's doing it for "the minorities". Interesting choice of words there Mr. Hyman. Hyman, who is not even a resident of Jersey City is hopping mad Da Mayor won't allow his company to build housing on the Sixth Street Embankment. So, to get back at Healy, Hyman is carpet bombing portions of Jersey City with 'Anyone but Healy' flyers that he is footing the bill for, $150 thousand worth of them in Wards C & F. Hyman is using the flyers to claim the Mayor has been no friend to "the minorities" in allowing Greenville Hospital and the Lafayette Post Office to close and several bus lines in African American neighborhoods to close up shop.

"But I figured as long as we're spending the money, the minorities could be the long-term beneficiaries..."

Wow, talk about a jaded character. We're really sorry your business plan can't get off the ground but to pretend you're doing it for a group it sounds like you'd hold at arms length is not just disingenuous but kind of sad.

"It's very interesting how a person who doesn't live in Jersey City, arguably doesn't live in New Jersey, can put himself in an exalted position and pretend to tell a community how to vote.
