Jersey City's waterfront will play host to the USS New York today

Officials and well wishers are expected to gather at Exchange Place Monday to welcome the USS New York, a ship forged from some of the wreckage from 9/11.

The ship will dock at 8 am at the site of the World Trade Center site for a 21 gun salute.

    Didn't hear the 21 gun salute but did see the three Osprey helicopters with will fit nicely on the USS New York cruising overhead.

    It'll be at Pier 88 for anyone wanting to go take a tour of it this week

    Nah, we'll leave the spokespeoples jobs to those who sail on the ship and the ones who get to shoot missiles at miscreants.
