They're nothing but whores who actually try to interject themselves into the stories to try and grab whatever media attention they can while acting like nothing more than deer-ticks when it comes to sports 'reporting'. This entire LeBron James incident really is a nail in ESPN's coffin, hear that up in Connecticut?
Don't take it from Johnny, how about award winning author Mitch Albom in the Detroit Free Press:
"So let’s recap. An ESPN reporter got a tip that ESPN was going to break the LeBron news. The ESPN reporter contacted ESPN to get some confirmation. ESPN did confirm the news, but ESPN would not comment further to the ESPN reporter."
Pretty fracking disgraceful. ESPN have jumped the shark from being a sports network to being an entertainment network, no better than a show like Entertainment Tonight with sports highlites. They bend over backwards to be jock sniffers for players like Brett Favre and LeBron James. They're willing to turn their networks over to the inmates. They're willing to give up control to appease athletes they'll want access to later on.
No sports fans, ESPN isn't about sports, now they're about ESPN and sports personalities.
Money whore! Attention whore! Championship whore? Hold up - not yet...
ReplyDeleteYep, never won anything and now, through his actions say "I simply can't do what Jordan and Isiah Thomas or Magic Johnson or Larry Bird did and that's to lift those around me and make them better so I can win. I need a lot of help to be 'the man'.
