Former Jersey City court administrator will be sentenced for dismissing her own tickets

First of all the amount of tickets dismissed by Virginia Pagan is staggering. Being a court administrator for Jersey City she logged into a computer and dismissed 215 tickets accrued by herself and her daughter. One wonders how in the hell you accumulate 215 tickets but that's the number she was convicted of dismissing. The amount lost to Jersey City for the fines was over $5000.

Pagan resigned in 2007 after her scam was found out. Prosecutors are pushing for a three year sentence in the clink.

  1. Three years at the very least. She should be ashamed but she probably isn't. Is is really SO HARD to find a legal parking space?
