The series is tied 2-2 after a convincing and one could say dominant effort by the Devils tonight at the Prudential Center winning 4-1. OK, the series is tied two games apiece. It's now a best of three series. If you ask yourself honestly which team has had the better run of play and who has been the better team, thus far you'd have to say the Devils. Game 5 is huge. If the Devils can keep imposing their will and keep the Rangers defending for 75% of the game they can win game 5 and the series. The Rangers looked tired at moments tonight. They did. And just what was John "The Circus is in Town" Tortorella trying to do? It was he who sent the players out who started the mess. Johnny thinks Tortorella sees the cracks in the Rangers and knows damn well if this keeps up the Devils are going to win the series. He's trying to clown it up to keep the attention off of his team underachieving and on him to lessen the pressure on the players. Either way, who was Tortorella going to fight tonight, DeBoer? Hell Pierre McGuire between the benches for NBC could kick his ass. Johnny sure knows Marc Crawford working between the benches for CBC could.
Game 5 Wednesday from the World's Most Famous Arena with penalty box doors that don't work.
Time for Jersey City, After Dark
