RIP Harold Ramis

You know Johnny's feeling thunderstruck when he posts a tribute to a celebrity. Perhaps the Carole King of comedy writing is gone. Harold Ramis passed away today at age 69.

He was a comic genius. Your first thoughts of him might be his great characters in Stripes and Ghostbusters. Then it starts to sink in he had a hand in writing and directing Caddyshack, National Lampoon's Vacation, Meatballs and Groundhog Day. He produced Back to School and Multiplicity. He wrote Animal House. If you're a male and Johnny's age, Ramis' quotes roll off your tongue daily.

One of Johnny's all-time favorite Ramis passive aggressive one-liners? "Aw, people don't talk about you behind your back....as far as you know."

So, yeah, Harold Ramis has passed but luckily his iconic works will live on.
