Jersey City allowing residents to prepay 2017 taxes due to Trump tax bill

Jersey City and the Fulop Administration are telling and allowing residents to prepay their 2018 estimated tax bill to take advantage of the current tax law. If you were to pay your 2018 taxes on say January 5th you'd only be able to deduct $10,000.00 on your 2018 taxes, the ones you'll file by April 2019.
