OK, first things first. Johnny is a horrible person and if he weren't an Atheist and didn't believe in a heaven and hell he'd be going to hell for laughing at this picture. The overflowing irony of Sonny Bono wedged into two trees is just sublime.

You can't think of the movie Groundhog Day and not think of the song on the radio every morning at 6:00 AM that woke Bill Murray to his daily nightmare, Sonny and Cher and the timeless classic, 'I Got You Babe' which is how we're going to kick off Bill Murray Day Night on the Music Series.

We can't say what the best song we've ever played on the Music Series is. That'd be a tough call. This one, yeah this one would be a bottom five. So why Johnny, why play it at all? Easy, Bill Murray Day and if you've ever seen the dance scene from Meatballs to this song you'd know why it's all up in your face right now.

The music I guess, my feet just start tapping and I get all happy inside. I guess it's just something I was born with.
Kind of a birth defect huh?

Yes, it's true, today is national Bill Murray Day! So how about we start out with a small animation and we'll dig deeper into his treasured body of work (Check out our June 25th post on Bill) as the day goes on.
