Eco-friendly Christmas lights illuminate the Central Ave. strip
AND we get a Mayor Healy sighting. We swear, if this guy doesn't start showing up for town hall meetings or city council meetings or some public event where everything isn't a tree lighting ceremony or a parade and HARD questions of his stewardship can be asked we're gonna pass out faux milk cartons around Grove St. and Journal Square with pictures of his eminence on them. Talk about an absentee mayor...
The lights, yes the lights, they look great and they are environmentally friendly relying on light-emitting diode (LED) lights which use far less energy. So get out there and waste some precious fossil fuels and check them out. They really do look good.
