Is there ANY band out there who can do a cover of a famous band's song and do a better job than the Cowboy Junkies? It's hard to think of one. In spite of some incredible hits of their own, Johnny is oddly drawn to their covers. We're gonna do something nutty here, since Johnny is going on vacation and you're not getting Friday night videos next week we're gonna splurge here and put in THREE Cowboy Junkies covers tonight, you can fight over your favorite.

We start with the cover of The Velvet Underground's classic 'Sweet Jane'


We'll follow that one up with a cover of U2's song 'One'. We think the clips used here are some movie we're not familiar with but whatever, the song's the thing.


And finally on your special treat night (Because you've all been so good), a Cowboy Junkies amazing cover of Bruce Springsteen's 'Thunder Road'
