Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with FRANK ZAPPA!
This is probably Johnny's favorite song about the upwardly mobile opportunities in rock music for disaffected kids, in particular, the women. Frank Zappa clearly saw this to be an issue WITH a solution. A man ahead of his time. 'Crew Slut' giving us a life lesson on your way out the door tonight.
Not sure if it was really Toto or not. Classic.

An actual email request for this one!
Johnny has long said this blog is your as much as his if you have good ideas. Well friends Johnny was checking the emails and we actually got a REQUEST for this one. Sure it's a great song, a Johnny fave, but we're not sure if it was a dare of this has New Year's Eve party time written all over it.

Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with FRANK ZAPPA!
From time to time we're going to play a song that may, well, upset some sensibilities. This makes Johnny just giddy. It is his goal in life to be the hand grenade in the room anyhow which brings us to Frank Zappa tonight and the classic 'Catholic Girls.' Johnny eagerly awaits the hate mailz.

While nobody will be walking in L.A. on the streets on NYC tonight...
...It's still a great song. Dale Bozzio, lead singer of Missing Persons did quite a bit of work with Frank Zappa, including her famous turn on the song 'Crew Slut'. No Zappa here though, just Missing Persons with 'Walking in L.A.'
