If you're heading to the shore this weekend listen good

Yeah, Johnny's pretty much checked out into weekend mode as he's actually taking a day off for a four-day weekend but if you're lucky enough to be heading down to the Jersey Shore in Atlantic and or Monmouth counties there have been some disturbing shark sightings over the last few days. Great white shark disturbing.

Enjoy the weekend but do be careful.

Mary Lee is back...

Good thing for Jersey Shore swimmers it's mid October and only the hearty surfers are possibly making themselves a buffet. Mary Lee, a tagged Great White Shark that made New Jersey's shoreline home earlier this year before heading south has had her beacon ping off of Cape May. There's a lot more info in the article but no mention on if Mary Lee could at any point turn into a Land Shark.

Read this before you dip your toes or go surfing on the Shore this weekend

Non-profit research group OCEARCH has been tracking a 16-foot, 3,500-pound great white shark they have named Mary Lee since tagging her in September 2012 in Cape Cod, Mass., according to the group's website. Each Time Mary brings her dorsal fin above water it 'pings' a satellite allowing OCEARCH to track Mary's whereabouts. Here is an image of an enlarged tracking map, one you can follow yourself by clicking here.

Truly amazing stuff. Again, be careful about going in the water until you check Mary Lee's website.
