Yet another hazmat situation at Warren and Morgan St.

For the second time in a week the building being rehabbed at the corners of Warren and Morgan St. is being visited by a hazmat team. Jersey City emergency services are on scene and have blocked off a nice ring around the building. A police source told Johnny they have found "at least one" barrel they think might have some toxic waste, if not they are just being sure.

We'd certainly hope the owner of said building is amenable to repaying Jersey City for these all-too frequent trips to his building with hazmat teams and police.

Good god man, you've struck asbestos!

The hazmat teams are on the scene and the asbestos (we're guessing asbestos, if it's something more toxic the PAD is screwed) alarms are shrieking at the corner of Bay St. and Warren.

Hey no problem to have a building rich in asbestos with the sides splayed open where a good breeze can share it with everyone downtown.

If it was V8 juice get the hazmat team

A sand truck had to be called to sop up juice that was spilled from a tanker truck on Route 440. Look if this is like apple juice or cranberry juice, while a shame, doesn't need hazmat. V8, that sh*t is nasty and a hazmat team should be sent to the scene. Sand won't cover that up. It's the same idea as a cat in catbox. Yes it's covered but it's still a turd. So to reiterate tonight a juice of unknown origin spilled on Route 440 and Johnny detests V8 juice.

The hazmat situation over by Grove Street is merely furniture varnish...

You can all breathe (well rest anyway) easier, the big downtown hazmat situation turned out to be nothing more than an industrial furniture varnish operation.

There is no danger, except to furniture and all is well in downtown Jersey City.
