Are there ghosts at the site of the Hindenburg crash?

Today is the anniversary of the famed Hinderburg crash in Lakehurst New Jersey. Earlier today the Twitter account of Weird NJ asked if perhaps there might be ghosts about the naval air station and crash site. Johnny, being a fan of the teevee show Ghost Hunters knew they had done a quite thorough investigations and did see some shadow people and catch voices. if you're up for a good scare an a history lesson here you go. So the voters have spoken, the new Monopoly piece is CAT

The Monopoly game people decided they needed to shake things up and bring attention to a good but now dusty old board game. So to Facebook it was and they asked which piece should they adopt (CAT) and which one should they lose. The answer to that was the lowly iron. All those irons now being tossed away and 30-40% of them will hit Wile E. Coyote. Nobody listened to Johnny once again. He had ideas but no, they asked America a question via the internet and the answer came back CAT. Who would have imagined that? Some of Johnny's better ideas?

Today is the 75th anniversary of the Hindenburg disaster

Luftschiff Zeppelin No. 129 was the official company name for the Hindenburg, something forgotten by many over time no doubt. But of course everyone knows the flaming image when the word Hindenburg is used. It is a powerful name sometimes even used to describe similar catastrophes.

The Star-Ledger's Mike Frassinelli has a fantastic look back at a very awful day. A chilling accounts from some of the few live witnesses to that day in Lakehurst. A great read over morning coffee.
