Yes even Republicans today. All should partake in this Republic's independence and the joy that goes with it.
Tomorrow however a lot of Americans need to get on with the whole 'responsibilities' portion of 'rights and responsibilities'

Happy Independence Day!
America should give free lesson on how to declare independence from England after this year's Brexit stupidity. Happy Independence Day to us and hopefully it spreads to whomever wants democracy (or some de-facto form therein)!

You cannot get more patriotic than this
Every year Johnny likes to share his all-time fave-O-rite 4th moment, the Ford F-150 Neighborhood Fireworks MOBILE Launch Commander 5000. Invite Jimmeh to your next neighborhood brush fire:
Happy Independence Day!
All anti-fireworks laws have been suspended for 24 hours, but you might wanna keep the grills close to the garage or under an awning, this Hurricane spinning up the coast could give us some rain bands early on.
Happy Independence Day to all those who love America!

Happy Independence Day!
Today might be a good day to look at your dwindling freedoms under George W. Bush, Barack Obama, the NSA, the FBI, PRISM, and the Patriot Act. Seriously, are you just going to give away your RIGHT to not be spied on with dubious warrant claims? Are you just going to give away your FREEDOM to not have your phone calls listened or your internet searches cataloged? Are you going to let National Intelligence Director James Clapper lie to Congress and not go to jail over the depth and scope of the spying? Guaranteed if you lied to Congress you'd be in jail yesterday.
So while you watch the teevee specials today on great Americans who built this land and gave us our birthrights, and watch the shells bursting over the Hudson River tonight ask yourself if you're just willing to accept what you're told by the powers that be or if you're ready to hold them to account.
Again, Happy Independence Day and Restore the Fourth!

Happy Independence Day from the Jersey City Desk
Looks like that vision our forefathers undertook in 1776 paid off. Now look at us, we're as good as England at soccer.

Swear to god, Johnny will do a BYOS
Bring Your Own Shell, he'll buy one and bring it. If he wins the bid down in Camden on the 4th of July he'd get to fire the 5 inch gun on the mighty S.S. New Jersey, a battleship that has served America well from World War II through the Persian Gulf War. You end the fireworks show by firing a BLANK in a 5 inch gun. This gun can kill things up to 10 miles around in any direction, where's the fun and adventure in using a dud?
CEO Jim Schuck: “...But not to fear, we are only shooting blanks! But they are loud and make a great flash!”
Yeah, nuh-uh, if Johnny's in for at lest $500 clams he's gonna invest in some really worth winning, a great fireworks show and a puncher's chance at getting his range right to fire a 5 inch shell into downtown Philadelphia.
Speaking of Philadelphia, as we get through summer and into fall around here the Jersey City Desk is going to take up a collection where you and Johnny can put up some money to buy toys for hundreds of kids in Philadelphia. We're going to give them a very happy Christmas. Gee Johnny, why wouldn't you take up a collection for the kids right here in Jersey City? Well citizen, Johnny is hoping we can get at least 1000 vuvuzelas in the hands of Philadelphia youth so before long they ALL have to have them.
