Mayor Healy will be holding a fundraiser at Puccini's December 6th

And we encourage the hundreds and thousands of Jersey City voters and residents whom the mayor long ago stopped caring about to show up at Puccini's and let the mayor know that actually carrying out your duties as mayor include actually meeting with citizens (and citizens groups who might just ask hard questions) and not just singing karaoke in bars and showing up at ribbon cuttings and parades.

Again, Mayor Healy will be holding a fundraiser December 6th at Puccini's. He's asking $150-$300 a pop. If you'd like to be heard without becoming a Healy acolyte simply show up and start asking questions. Our goal would be between 50-100 people there that evening. By showing up and holding a camera to see just whom is on their way in to support the mayor would be a good thing as well. If you're going to support Healy let's make it very difficult to do it secretly.

And the winners are...

Leading the pack last night were Viola Richardson (who never met a tax payer funded job she didn't like) and Rolando R. Lavarro Jr., both are to be congratulated for their victories.

Now for the losers. Well, loser, singular. Mayor Healy (again).

Healy backed both of his two rubber stamp incumbents, Ray Velazquez (Whom Healy appointed) and Kalimah Ahmad. In a race that should be very telling to the mayor his candidates finished fourth and fifth. Times are changing mayor, People are mad and they know exactly who they are mad at. It's no longer crooks like Leona Beldini and Mariano Vega, it's YOU. You never answer to citizens. You never show up in public unless it's a parade or some grand opening event where you are surrounded by acolytes and police. You act as though you are above the people you represent. You have walled yourself off in your office and you now hide from the people whom you'll be asking for votes from.

We hope they respond to you in 2013 the way you have given them the back of your hand since election day 2009.

Oh mayor, say mayor old chap

Yes you Mayor Healy. The Jersey Journal had a very good point yesterday, where on earth is OUR 2010 State of the City address? As the JJ pointed out last year you gave a State of the City address as you were running for office and needed the votes of the citizenry. This year, after huge tax hikes and spikes in crime you're nowhere to be found.

Are you embarrassed by your administration? Are you ashamed of what you're done (or not done) for Jersey City? Are you hiding from the fact those inside your administration have been convicted of thievery? Why in the world won't you come out and talk to us and describe what it is you're actually doing to right the ship. Then, a nice sit down with someone who will ask the TOUGH questions is in order. If you'd like Johnny to ask those tough questions sobeit but nothing will be off the table, be ye warned.

First off come out from your Dick Cheney undisclosed location and talk to the people, you know, the ones you see all over town, yeah, that's US and we'd love to hear what you've been up to.
