Johnny is gonna be in and out of the Jersey City Desk offices this week as remodeling has begun on his home. So, for now, here's a delightful picture of the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina:

12:30 kickoff for Rutgers on a football gameday!
The Scarlet Knights are down in Chapel Hill NC (Hurricane free for days) for a 12:30 kickoff in Kenan Stadium. Both Rutgers and UNC started off with impressive wins last weekend over lesser competition with Rutgers pounding NC Central 48-0 and UNC dropping James Madison like third period French class 42-10.
This should be a very good test for the good guys. Hopefully the Scarlet Knights can set some kind of running back rotation to set up play-action. UNC had a lot of guys sit out last year for various reasons and some were declared ineligible. The Tar Heels are trying to bounce back from what could only be called the Butch Davis Follies.
Winning on the road is tough. We think Rutgers can jump out early and hang on late.
Fearless Forecast:
Rutgers 28
UNC 26

Holy lucky tickets Batman, Johnny just scored tickets to the Sweet Sixteen in Newark tonight
Good ones too so we'll try to bring you all the flavor and all the fun out at the Prudential Center tonight. Well try to get self-proclaimed superfans from North Carolina, Marquette, Ohio State and Kentucky. Normally Johnny would be cheering for Big Ten brethren to MSU the Ohio State Buckeyes but things in the athletic department in Columbus have become quite effervescent as of late and Johnny hates seeing cheating programs win a title. Kentucky and North Carolina are storied programs but Kentucky has quite the poor history of race relations back when Adolph Rupp ran the UK program and North Carolina committed the sin of beating Michigan State in the 2009 title game.
Hello Marquette, how you doin'?...

Here's hoping for wins by Syracuse, Ohio State and North Carolina today
Look, Johnny doesn't like any of those teams but if they all win today, coupled with Kentucky's win yesterday the Regional Finals next week out in Newark become MAMMOTH matchups and that's good for business.
Besides, Johnny's brackets were toast about 3 pm on the first day.
