Johnny's been saying this forever, if you're missing out on the Jersey City food scene...

...You're simply missing out. Zagat's food Guide recently listed seven reasons to take the PATH train from NYC to Cool City and get some grub. Zagat's being Zagat's mentioned the better known restaurants; Taqueria, Razza pizza, Thirty Acres etc. We'd sure have liked Zagat's to head to India Square and get some of the best Indian food anywhere. Marco and Pepe, check. Skinner's Loft, check. Satis, Light Horse Tavern, More, Sky Thai, all checks.

So get out there and eat eat eat and share your faves with us.

Jersey City's Razza Pizza lands a pie on America's 33 best

The website Thrillist put together a list of the best pizzas in America and just what makes them so darned tasty. Razza Pizza at 275 Grove St. had their Artiginale land on the best list:

This is the best Neapolitan pizza that you better not call Neapolitan pizza. The crispy edged wood-fired pies at downtown Razza's serve up nothing but seasonally harvested New Jersey-everything, from the locally milled flour to the wild yeast that eats it before you devour fresh mozz, house-made sausage, and shaved onions baked in a secret sauce-blend of heirloom tomatoes.

Congrats to Razza Pizza, expect these Artiginale's to be flying out of the kitchen.
