Let's pick up the pace as Santa gets closer
Johnny was just watching the Santa Tracker on NORAD because he's a big kid. Let's now go to Johnny's fave-o-rite holiday song, 'Run Rudolph Run' and we'll use the Dave Edmunds version because, well, it's the best.

Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with BRYAN ADAMS!
Putting the wraps (heh) on another Music Series, Christmas Edition, it's Bryan Adams and 'Run Rudolph Run', the Chuck Berry standard. We always use someone's version of this over the years, Keith Richards, Dave Edmunds, Sheryl Crow, Jane Krakowski, and of course Chuck Berry. Tonight it's Bryan Adams' turn to bring it all home with this rocker, 'Run Rudolph Run'

Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with DAVE EDMUNDS!
Sure, everybody and his or her brother has done and remade and covered this Chuck Berry classic. For Johnny's money, Dave Edmunds just gets 'Run Rudolph Run' just right. Therefore we're going to wind up this year's Christmas Music Series with the best Christmas song there is.

Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with DAVE EDMUNDS!
Dave Edmunds ripping through 'Run Rudolph Run' as only Dave Edmunds can. Push play and get up with your alcohol-infused egg nog and get your swerve on. That's it. Santa don't care if you wanna trip the light fantastic next to the Christmas tree.

Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with THE DAVE EDMUNDS BAND!
'Run Rudolph Run' as we've mentioned here before has been re-recorded by just about everyone. For Johnny's holiday money he thinks the Dave Edmunds version might truly be his favorite. Who knew a reindeer with a red nose would inspire so darned much music.

Saturday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with KEITH RICHARDS!
First off, Happy Birthday Keef. Mr. Richards is celebrating number 67 today and we wish him many more. Johnny just got an autographed copy of his new book 'Life' he can't wait to tear into.
Now, the song Run Rudolph Run is Johnny's fav-o-rite Christmas song, it's the rockinest. But which version to choose, since it's been done by a lot of great artists, so we're gonna play three versions of this song tonight in our holiday spectacular. Kick it off Keith!

Saturday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with DAVE EDMUNDS!
It's hard choosing only three versions of this holiday standard. Do some research some time and see everyone with a cover of this Chuck Berry original. From Sheryl Crow to Hanson to actress Jane Krakowski to Motorhead. This version might just be Johny's fave.
Saturday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with BRIAN SETZER!
We wrap up this year's Christmas special with Brian Setzer and his orchestra doing what else, Run Rudolph Run.

Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with (And Happy Birthday to) KEITH RICHARDS!
Keeeeef, with one his favorite songs, one he said he'd re-release every year he was walking this planet, the Christmas time standard written by Chuck Berry 'Run Rudolph Run'.
Happy 66th Birthday Keef. How many of you had that number in your death pools? In another 100 years the only things around will be cockroaches, microwave burritos, and Keith Richards.
