Severe thunderstorm watch for Hudson County and the surround until 11pm UPDATED

A rather wicked line of thunderstorms is heading our way from the northwest and it would seem a good bet they'll arrive during the 7 o'clock hour. Upstate New York has taken some nasty hits from these storms and power outages have been reported. Charge up your cell phones tie the kids down.

Update 6:32 The Weather Channel just said winds ahead of the bow line with these storms could hit 80mph. Many trees down and power outages. We'll now upgrade our warning on this storm to 3 out of 5 Dr. Smiths.
