Are we good here?

If your idea of making things right is becoming a sniper and murdering police officers then you're pretty fucked in the head and if it had to happen in any state, trust Johnny, Texas will make your life miserable until your pathetic and unremarkable end comes. If you think shooting cops is OK, just go crawl off and die, you're already a waste of a human life.

If you're a cop somewhere who is too fucking scared of African Americans and other minorities that you're that hair-triggered at all times when dealing with minorities, fuck you, go find another job. You're not a good cop put in a bad situation, you're a danger to the community paying your dumb ass. If you think beating and choking and abusing minorities is your best first move because the police union and local prosecutor will have your back, fuck you, you're a disgrace to the badge.

Are we good here?

Macy's was never going to take credit for this and well, they should

Macy's likes to talk about a lot of things. Their commitment to the NYC area, their parade and fireworks on big holidays and of course they love talking about what's on sale.

But here's something the local media wasn't going to give Macy's credit for, that they so very much deserve to have shouted from rooftops; Macy's helped lobby Texas Governor Rick Perry to veto the Texas Living Wage bill.

Yes, the same Texas governor who not too long ago said all kinds of nasty things about New York City and promised to take jobs away from the area and relocate them to Texas. Macy's seemingly didn't hear Perry when he was in the city last OR they just don't care:

Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) vetoed a bill this summer to help prevent wage discrimination after receiving letters against the measure from retailers like Macy's and Kroger Food Stores, according to documents newly obtained by the Houston Chronicle.

Macy's is using your money to screw over current and future employees in the Republic of Texas, how classy. But why no mention of it here Macy's? If you feel so confident that lobbying against your employees getting more take home pay is in everyone's best interests why not post it on your corporate Facebook page? Why not put a statement out on your company website happily admitting how you spend your lobbying money.

We just thought Macy's might like us to talk about how they spend their lobbying money so everyone up here in the free states of New York and New Jersey can decide if they still want to support a company with such shitty corporate values. Forty-two states have passed equal pay laws similar to the one Perry vetoed. Women currently make only 77 cents for every dollar men earn.

Thanks Macy's, we're going to show you for who you really are...

Here's a wonderful story of the help New Jersey is getting from all across America

In our hour/months of need up this way and along the Jersey Shore there is a need for almost every kind of help you can imagine. Logistical people, utility workers, extra police, construction workers etc. There is a wonderful story, sure to warm your hearts New Jersey, of workers coming from Texas, Ohio and Michigan. They've come from New Orleans who never forgot that New Jersey State Police were some of the first to come to their aid after Hurricane Katrina.

After a bruising and vicious election that exposed the differences in our nation, reading stories like this help renew your faith in our great land and great people.
