Like Hank Williams once sang "Oh the rain is slowly falling..."

Ole Hank must have been talking about New Jersey because after 4 inches of rain last week sopping the gardens in the Garden State, there's more rain on the way....a LOT more. A possibility of 3 inches of rain today and tonight, a possibility of tornadoes in our southern counties and a high probability of flooding comes with these storms. Be prepared and look in on neighbors. You've got about a half hour before it hits.

Jersey City is now under a tornado watch until 5AM

Why the hell not? We've had an earthquake this week and now a tornado watch and a hurricane. By Thursday we'll have another blizzard...

So many videos and pictures yesterday of the tornadoes and brilliant lightning and thunder on the internets so we were wondering if any of you Jersey City Desk readers had any to share.

Tornado Warning for Hudson County and everywhere around here

A tornado HAS touched down in Paterson and the possibility exists for more. Hudson County, Essex County, Bergen County and all of Manahttan are all under a tornado warning. Get the hell inside or somewhere safe. If you're a hipster and checking in wirelessly from say Madison Square Park you might wanna start filming the line in front of Shake Shack to get their reaction as they watch a tornado roar down 23rd St.
