Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with kd Lang AND THE SISS BOOM BANG!

OK, Johnny saw "After Midnight" tonight over to Broadway and k.d. Lang as 'Special Guest Star' was simply unequaled. You can go ahead and put some fine singers in that role and they'll be good, some will be great but they won't be k.d. Lang. The celebrity speckled audience tonight seemed to realize this was something special having her sing those smoky blues and jazz songs from the Cotton Club era. Johnny sat there mesmerized watching and listening her up close and personal simply in awe of the best voice of our generation, if not ever. If you have a chance to catch her in "After Midnight" you do that.
