Well NJ transit was either lying (our opinion) or simply inept once again. You'll recall the secret deal NJ Transit was trying to cut with the now disgraced Rockefeller Group by going around the Hoboken City Government for a new light rail stop in FuHo. How clandestine was the NJ Transit/Rockefeller Group deal? NJ Transit and the Rockefeller Group inked a non-binding agreement in June to continue with plans for a station in the northern section of the city, WITHOUT HOBOKEN INVOLVEMENT.
When Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer thought it was odd that NJ Transit wasn't producing the documents and plans about such a deal, NJ Transit said "Well, we don't have those documents."
Guess what, NJ Transit despite saying first they didn't have to produce them, then saying they didn't even have the
unicorn documents, HAD the documents.
What assholes.
