Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with OINGO BOINGO!
Johnny went to see Danny Elfman's Music From the Films of Tim Burton at Lincoln Center tonight and what a blast that was. All those great movie soundtracks Danny Elfman has written and produced. Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Batman, Sleepy Hollow, Big Fish, Alice in Wonderland, The Corpse Bride, The Nightmare Before Christmas to name a few. Just the wonderful NY philharmonic and choral assembly to back it all up and Danny Elfman came out to recreate his Jack Skellington songs and the classic swing Oogie Boogie song from Nightmare. It's only there for like a hiccup, until next week but if you can go, do go. Let's face facts, Danny Elfman is so cool he pisses ice cubes.
