A new poll has great news for the mayor, a full 68% of Jersey City residents think he's doing a great job. Know who says so? Not bloggers or the Star Ledger or North Jersey News, nope a new poll says so. That's right everything is fine with the city, everyone loves the mayor so just shut up already.
What? Who did the polling? Well, it was the Democratic polling outfit The Mellman Group. So there, a real poll by a group who polls Democrats.
What? Who paid for the poll? Um, er, well...
GO AWAY AND COME BACK TOMORROW!! GO GET ME A BROOMSTICK OR SOMETHING!!
No, seriously, who paid for this poll? Well OK if you must know the Fulop Administration paid for the poll that told them they were all that and a bag of chips.
There you have it folks, a new poll that you can pretty dismiss out of hand. Ward C Councilman Cranky McDavenport sure did:
Councilman Rich Boggiano, who represents Ward C and is a frequent Fulop critic, had one word to describe the poll's results: "Baloney." Boggiano told The Jersey Journal that, from talking to voters, he doesn't believe that Fulop's job approval rating is higher than 50 percent.
"I've been here 46 years," he said. "I know practically everybody throughout the city."
Johnny knew the last Ward C councilwoman but alas, he's back to being basically nobody as Rich Boggiano, who knows practically everybody, has never met Johnny.
Them's the haps from 280 Grove St. for now and if you'll excuse Johnny he's gonna go make a 'baloney' sandwich.
