You just can't have a Super Happy Fun Day without this one

Fitting; 'Rainy Day Women #12 & 35' but yes you'll know it by its name in the common tongue, just push play.

Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with BOB DYLAN!

Just one of the best songs ever done. 'Tangled Up in Blue' has always been and will always be one of Johnny's faves. Here's a slightly truncated version done live. Trust us this is the only real choice out there for this song -- some people need top have their YouTube account suspended for crimes against eardrums for tricking one into clicking a link claiming it's Tangled Up in Blue by Bob Dylan when it's a hideous cover done off-key in the basement in front of bad paneling. If you are doing a cover, say so.

Jersey City, Newark and Paterson are creating a 'strategic partnership' over public safety

In Paterson that's just the way things go...

We were leading with that whether it fit or not. Johnny's been holding that one in for a story involving Jersey City and Paterson since he got here. Whewwwwwwwwwww *exhale*

Jersey City, Newark and the aforementioned Paterson, New Jersey's three largest cites, are joining forces on public safety in what they are calling a "strategic partnership" and it will be unfurled this afternoon here in Jersey City at 1 p.m. event at the Hub Shopping Center on Martin Luther King Boulevard. Mayors Steve Fulop, Newark's Ras Baraka and Paterson's Joey Torres will discuss:

"...shared services in tracking criminals that may travel from city to city, gang intelligence, police manpower, expansion of employment, prisoner re-entry programs, bank foreclosures and shared practices."

Three high-profile cases, one in each city it would seem have helped get this collaboration off the ground.

We wish them luck and hope this cooperation can lead to some positive policing everyone is happy with except actual criminals.

Today screams for a news roundup

Actually it does. Lots of little stories that add up to BIG infotainment over coffee and bagels.

* Some flash in the pan named Bob Dylan performed at Pier A last night in the Big FuHo. Hoboken FD said that twelve people got their 99 Woodstock on and were treated for too much something or other. The fun part in this was watching Dylan's hosts mock him outright by doing their best impersonations.

* While we're in Hoboken this morning a retrospective: Maxwell's -- The Microbrew Years Killed the Place.

Liberty Humane Society is fixing things up after a $15,000 grant from the Canyon Creek Ranch Better Way Project, a national campaign that assists pet organizations like as Liberty Humane Society. The money will help repair Superstorm Sandy damage and they're also getting more than 8,000 pounds of Canyon Creek Ranch dog and cat food.

* Healy allies are angry because new mayor Steve Fulop (who WON the election) used his clout in getting Dana Scott Eisenberg, a Regent Street man who volunteered on Mayor Steve Fulop's campaign, elected chair of the Jersey City Parking Authority Board of Commissioners. News Bulletin to the butthurt Healy folks. Elections have consequences. Now be gone with you.

Dweedledumb and Dweedledumber robbed a bank in Fairview with a BB gun and a knife, left a trail of cash as they ran into North Bergen after which one carjacked someone and couldn't get the car in gear so naturally drove directly into a building, like ya do.

* Oh, by the way, The Port Authority pissed away $60 million of your tax dollars by insisting on paying higher insurance premiums than anyone would ever pay.

Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with BOB DYLAN!

Ah yes, the song about Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter who was screwed over by the cops out in Paterson (New Jersey for Johnny's Michigan pals) oh so long ago. As far as bio songs go, this one is way up the list.

In Paterson that's just the way things go...

Saturday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with BOB DYLAN!

Ah yes, the litterbug video lolz. Actually it's Bob Dylan behind the Savoy Hotel in London dropping cue cards to his classic 'Subterranean Homesick Blues'. Note famed poet Allen Ginsberg standing in the background...
