So disgraced former assemblyman Lou Manzo says Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan lacks integrity

OK, now that you have wiped the coffee off of your computer screen and keyboard after hearing Manzo claim ANYBODY lacks integrity, let's expound. Lou Manzo, who right now is facing several felony counts from the graft arrests last summer chimed in because he thinks for whatever reason Kagan's elevation to the Supreme Court in some small way impacts his own case. Yeah, we should do more of that as a nation, stop adding Supreme Court Justices or Federal Jurists because people like Lou Manzo see an advantage in their felony charged lifestyle.

Johnny used to be Manzo's neighbor in that they lived in the same building when Johnny moved here. After news of Manzo's alleged criminal enterprises where he turned potential office into an ATM it was all Johnny could do to not go upstairs and leave a message about his graft on Manzo's nose. Now, after hearing this utter crap, he wishes he would have. Johnny is just too damned nice sometimes.

Maybe your attorney telling you that despite getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar and being arrested with the other losers two weeks ago today, staying in office isn't in OUR best interests. Sure you pay him to tell you what YOU want to hear. Maybe your attorney could also remind you about the very vocal angry crowds outside the home of former Hoboken Mayor Peter Cammarano. Maybe he could remind you of the angry mobs outside Jersey City Hall.

Step down you crooked bum. That $15K you pocketed disqualifies you from representing honest hard working citizens.

Well well well, Mayor Healy is now involved in the corruption scandal that broke yesterday...ya don't say

Since you were so quick to suspend everyone in city government involved in the shameful bribery cases unsealed in Newark yesterday maybe you can suspend yourself.

The Jersey City Desk asked the question yesterday if Mayor Healy had something to tell us as the scandal seemed to stop right at his feet but now some excellent reporting in the PolitickerNJ by Matt Friedman shows us he WAS involved. He DID meet with Solomon Dwek and was present at meetings where money for favors was discussed.

Now, you need to step down Mr. Mayor. Parsing words or hiding behind legalities isn't good enough. We don't wanna go through another Clintonesque 'what the definition of the word is, is'. The rest of us deserve better. Yes, better than you. Don't you worry about us, we'll get on just fine.
