Damn Johnny, you should have told us to wear sweaters today in your late night thread last night
Well yes, guilty as charged. But how exhilarating was that morning coolness and that northerly breeze? It does feel like fall out there today and we're guessing you have fall festivals on the brain just waiting to get out of work. Luckily, the Jersey Journal has you covered with this handy dandy guide to the fall festivals near and far in Hudson County. Get a cup of cider, maybe a donut or cruller, and have a look and plan your outdoor fall activities today!

Go play outside
Take your little friends and go get some fresh air. It's an absolutely fabulous fall day in Jersey City. Get out there and enjoy it, drink it in. It'll be cold and dark by 4:30 soon enough.

Fall is arriving, hold on to your butts
He have both a high wind advisory today from noon to midnight and a shot at 2 inches of rain. Winds upwards of 50 miles per hour in driving rain is possible. Johnny took a drive around town this morning and watched someone with a wind-broken umbrella just simply drop it and keep going. This is unacceptable. If you take an umbrella out in 50 mph winds and it gets torn apart (gee, really?) YOU have the responsibility to find a trash can.
That is all...

OK Hudson County and friends across the river...
Do tell where you hide the corn mazes and cider mills out here. Please alert the staff here where we can get our autumn on. Johnny saw plenty of roadside ads for corn mazes and haunted houses and cider mills all across Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania on his travels. He'd love to know where the great fall events are out in this tri-state neck of the woods.
