This coming winter storm is neither funny nor cute
The Jersey City Desk is suspending the usual fun we have with storms and snow events to remind you, the temperatures coming after midnight tonight through Monday afternoon are DANGEROUS. Check on neighbors you feel are at risk. Bring animals inside. We're talking -20º to -30º wind chills for extended periods. If you see someone outside who may be having difficulty at least call someone to help them. This one storm it's OK to err on the side of caution when it comes to calling 911.

Fall is arriving, hold on to your butts
He have both a high wind advisory today from noon to midnight and a shot at 2 inches of rain. Winds upwards of 50 miles per hour in driving rain is possible. Johnny took a drive around town this morning and watched someone with a wind-broken umbrella just simply drop it and keep going. This is unacceptable. If you take an umbrella out in 50 mph winds and it gets torn apart (gee, really?) YOU have the responsibility to find a trash can.
That is all...

High wind advisory today campers
Starting at 10 am and running through 1 am tomorrow morning with gust over 50 mph. That should be a lot of fun for people with umbrellas. If you can take some amusing video or images of someone in a death fight with their umbrella today do pass that along and we'll run it.
Come on Jersey City, let's roll like they do in Florida!
