Rutgers will be looking improve to 8-3 this season with a win shortly in Louisville. The Scarlet Knights would level their conference record at 3-3 with a win. The tilt kicks off at 11am
We'll be short and sweet on this one, Louisville is 1-5 in the Big East and 4-7 overall. Rutgers had BETTER beat this team or there is a huge risk o f a bowl let down. Big difference between finishing the season 9-3 and 7-5 when it comes to bowl payouts. Louisville is nothing special and Rutgers should beat them by say at least 10 points. Since it's a road conference game and no doubt Louisville is stinging from last year's whipping handed to them by the Rutgers 11, they'll play hard. We'd be happy with just coming home with a win and a date with the couch burners from Morgantown next weekend in Piscataway. Rutgers is an impressive 3-1 on the road but the Cardinals are 4-1 at home winning all their games in Louisville.
Our Prediction
Rutgers 31
Louisville 28

Johnny's first Fearless Pigskin Forecast pertaining to the Big East Conference
We all know from reading this blog Johnny's a Big Ten/MAC guy, it just goes with where you grow up. But, he does love all college football and is ordering his college football package for the teevee tomorrow. He'll do a proper Rutgers breakdown later this week but here now is the Jersey City Desk Big East prediction for the 2009 season.
1. Cincinnati
2. West Virginia
3. Pittsburgh
4. Rutgers
5. South Florida
6. Connecticut
7. Louisville
8. Syracuse
Rutgers could go as high as third but playing patsies on their schedule doesn't really prep you for bigger conference games.

Don't forget kids, Rutgers football tonight!
That's right the Scarlet Knights will be looking to possibly get one of the automatic bids to a BCS bowl game from the Big East conference when they take on Louisville in Piscataway at 7:30.
Rutgers is looking for their sixth straight win after a tough start to this season. Louisville is an underachieving team sporting a god-awful 1-5 record in conference play. The Scarlet Knights will look to air it out against the porous Cardinals secondary. We see BIG numbers tonight for senior Mike Teel. No doubt Rutgers will do something on the ground but when you're looking at swiss cheese in Louisville's defensive backfield, expect an air attack of some note.
Lots of scoring, maybe some rain could make it interesting, but we see Rutgers winning this game by at least 10 points.
