This morning the sound of staple guns rang out in PADNA as workers from Lloyd Goldman's POS (Yes, piece of shit, so named by a gal Johnny was walking behind one day who made that very observation) Building at 111 First St. Now Johnny couldn't make out everything on the sign but did speculate on Twitter it says: "Move to this POS Building, become a pariah."
So what do you think Jersey City? What do you think a sign for a classless piece of shit like Lloyd Goldman who lied his way into Jersey City and then gave low income residents the back of his hand would say to rent this dump? Here are a few Johnny would suggest:
*Car insurance paid up? Tough neighborhood.
*Sure the accommodations are sparse, and it's a tall box.
*Construction around this building will go on for ten more years.
*Come live where people used to let their dogs poop.
*BJ's and ShopRite are close, too bad they're closing.
What do YOU think Jersey City? Think you could help Lloyd put some lipstick on this pig he built? Give us your slogans in comments and don't hold back.

The Newport 10K is tomorrow!
They call it the fastest race of it's kind in the area (of course they same the same thing about the Kentucky Derby, also tomorrow) and the race begins at Newport and winds through town (click the link for a handy map of the course and read about road closures in your neighborhood) until finishing back at Newport for cash and prizes. We're extra excited they are going to make the runners run down 1st St. through the hellish bumps, chuckholes, construction debris and glass from Marin to Washington. Say hi to POS Lloyd Goldman's citizen named "POS Building" when you cross Warren on your left. Wear your heavy soled sneakers kids!

New show idea for TLC -- Ice Hoarders
Sure it's stupid and vapid, but so is most of TLC.
Pavarini-McGovern has begun hoarding ice across from their 110 First St. site, putting up the new horrid looking POS Building®. It'll sure be there at least until tomorrow.

And thus a nickname was born...
Johnny was walking behind two women this morning who were seen looking at the new DeWitt Tishman 35 story building going up at the corner of Warren and First St. One woman looked at the other and said what a useless "POS" building (she used the more familiar term for POS, we're paraphrasing) it was.
There you go, it sounds good to us. The new building at 110 First shall hereby be known as the POS Building. Lady in the blue blazer and heels, congratulations on the name.
