Oh stop it, it's been forever since Neko's been on the Music Series. Here's a great song from the Middle Cyclone album which she described as sort of her breakup song with the Pacific Northwest. Like the link on the right says, the Fabulous Neko Case and 'Red Tide' and oh by the way listen closely to the part from 1:55 to 2:15. If you hear that as someone's ringtone around Jersey City, boom, you've found Johnny.

We haven't had Neko on in quite a while so why not tonight? Why not indeed. Johnny once heard Neko say this song, 'Red Tide,' was her sort of breakup song with the Pacific northwest, her home for many moons.  Once again, and as always, Kelly Hogan is amazing on backup vocals on this track.
