The Power House Lounge at 360 Marin Blvd. (Not Marlin Blvd. as their shuttle vans used to famously say) is hosting Jersey City native Freddie Robinson Jr. and his famous friends to help debut the new reality show (Oh that's why -- Johnny knows nothing of this sort of show) Chrissy & Mr. Jones. There will be an actual red carpet from 8:30-9 pm (The red carpet itself is on load from the Jersey City Desk as Johnny makes the interns roll it out for him when he gets to work) with a cocktail reception after the show.
Johnny loved the rather awkward way the article reporting this ended. It made it sound soooo odd we think:
The premiere is an exclusive event. To RSVP, contact Love Logan at Loveloganproductions.gmail.com.
It's the .gmail that makes it extra highbrow don't you think?
So there you have it reality teevee fans, get on over to the Power House Lounge and cheer for this show to do better than the last reality show shot in Jersey City with those two Italian girls with the shitting dogs.

Jersey City overrun with people coming to see where Snooki and JWOWW slept
No not really. Nothing has changed. That entire fiasco raised about zero awareness of our fair city. Despite the PROMISES of the Healy Administration, there aren't, nor were there ever big Snooki-bucks coming here. It was all a mirage by people with not enough vision. Hoboken said no. Yesterday Point Pleasant and Tom's River told them no to season two in their towns. What do they know that Jersey City didn't? They knew how to read the tea leaves friends.
Two things strike us here; 1) How long is MTV going to squeeze this dead-on-the-vine franchise? It's empty. Nobody cares when Snooki can't get drunk and fall down or get punched in the face. 2) Don't let the Healy Administration hold onto the remote control when it comes to the possibility of future shows wanting to set up shop here. They can't be trusted to pick winners. Leave that to the Jersey City Desk group of experts.
What did people learn about Jersey City from watching their show? Dogs in Jersey City love pooping inside. Who knew?

After last night's Snooki and JWOWW spin-off show you can clearly see why Jersey City jumped at the chance to host it
Did you see all those interactions around Jersey City? Did you see how it played out like a tourism video for our fair city?
Yeah, us either....
We're not exactly sure (And this is directly addressed to ALL whom help bring this show here, mayor) what the show did to promote Jersey City. We do know in one "touching" moment the producers decided to make Jersey City residents by proxy look like utter creepers with the guy watching the two "ladies" outside. Did you see that show supporters? Did you see that officials who allowed tax dollar one to be spent on this show? Just like Johnny said would happen the producers decided to make a joke out of the locals. By allowing this to be filmed here (and again we say this) did you not think for a second the producers would try to make Snooki and JWOWW the most happening and intelligent people in town?
Congratulations Jersey City powers that be, you gave television producers free reign to make us look bad and damned if they didn't do it in the first episode.
