Clear skies today mean a lunar eclipse tonight

There will be a lunar eclipse this evening but it may not look like an eclipse you're used to. It won't be the grand blocking of the sun in an exacting shadow type, rather the moon tonight will be seen in North America in the last stages of the eclipse as the Earth's shadow is cast across the moon. About 7:50pm tonight will be the best view.
