Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with THE THOMPSON TWINS!

So, a good show by War on Drugs tonight in Central Park if a tad low-energy. The band doesn't seem to have a real back and forth with the crowd and the crowd, well like Johnny Tweeted, they were more involved with their phones than the concert. Seriously. It was somewhat embarrassing. Yeah, Johnny can tell the difference between someone holding a phone up above head level to snap shots or take video of the show and head down texts/Instaplace/FaceyGram or whatever else app windows are open. Some for 10 or 15 minutes at a time. A woman sitting in front of Johnny could've been reading War and Peace she was on her phone so long.

You kids wake up, there are some good bands out there and you're missing them. Concerts are about two things and always have been, music and getting drunk/high. You're ruining something so easy to get right.

So, what does that have to do with our first song tonight? Nothing, absolutely nothing.
