Maybe you set them down with the best intentions

Attention Jersey City: There is a pair of dark blue Calvin Klein men's underpants off of Columbus Dr. not too far from the Grove St. PATH station. Maybe you had some kind of wardrobe malfunction this past weekend or on your way into the office today. Maybe you just set them down for a second and got distracted when people started looking your way with that, "Ewwwwwwwww" look in their eyes. Well you're very lucky that a quality item like this is still there. You may pick them up anytime today.

Either the birds hate this car...

...or this particular permit parking spot is just not worth all this. This was the ONLY car in the line on Warren to get this bird treatment. It might just be time to, you know, move your car while you can still see it...

Just in time for another hot weekend, the Hudson River is open for recreational use once again

So head on down to the river with a view and jump on in. The NYC waste plant sewage has dissipated. No, really, jump on in. What are you waiting for, a gold ticket? Go head, jump in and paddle around and cool off.

Oh nevermind...

This'll get you in the holiday spirit; Man in Harlem walks suitcase down the street stuffed with a body

No, you read that right. NYPD police are looking for a man in Harlem who was nonchalantly pulling a suitcase down E. 114th St. and then for some reason, simply walked away from it. A passerby saw the suitcase and unzipped it ever so slightly until he saw a leg at which point he ran to Rao's Italian Restaurant to alert police.

The dead woman in the suitcase is Betty Williams, a Harlem resident.

Police, using street and store security videos said the man pulled the suitcase behind him for a while, stopped to take a breather and then keeps pulling the suitcase before simply walking away from it.

If you have any information on this grisly find please call the NYPD.

Here's a story that'll send the creeps up and down your spine, a Bayonne girl dies after a spider bite

Now of course we're awaiting the toxicology reports but a Bayonne girl, Marissa Marie Ciolek, was bitten by a spider on Christmas Day and her condition went steadily downhill after that.

According to the Jersey Journal:

"Bayonne Health Officer Richard Censullo said two types of spiders are found in the area, the black widow spider and the brown recluse spider. Both spiders can give a "nasty bites," but bites that are not usually fatal unless the victim has an allergy, such as anaphylaxis, he said."

Yikes, sleep well.
