The New Jersey Department of Transportation is planning for the next snowstorm as have handsome pay packages if you wanna work

Are you a plow driver with a Class B CDL? Can you handle a 6- to 8-ton dump truck with a snowplow? Then the NJ DOT wants to pay you $42.31 an hour if you're chosen to be a backup plow driver when the next winter storm hits.

"We’re worried about having a big event and having drivers working for days without sleep — that could cause an accident," Transportation Commissioner Jim Simpson said. "So we said, ‘You know what we need to do? We need to get as many extra people that we can."

$564.54. According to the Business Opportunities website, the Jersey City Desk is worth a WHOPPING $564.54. Most people can't even imagine having that much money to spend.

Let's put this in perspective however, compared to two other popular blogs, The liberal leaning hippie lovin' Daily Kos and right wing firebrand (and nutjob) Michelle Malkin, Johnny is running third:

Daily Kos is worth $6,204,859.14

Michelle Malkin's blog is worth $2,688,904.02

So why the big difference? We're pretty sure it's the fact we don't take advertising. Yeah, that's GOT to be the reason we're lagging in the millions. Of course there are some cynics who will say content and web traffic help, what sad lives those people live.

However, a Union County couple did win the Mega-millions lotto.....in July, they came forward to claim it today. $75.5 million bones out of the $126 million prize after taxes and the lump sum payout. The Lopes family bought the ticket at AJ Seabra Supermarket in Newark.

Lotsa whiners on NJ.com over a Portuguese speaking couple winning the lotto. Funny, they probably weren't or haven't ever complained about foreign speakers paying INTO the lotto. Just now the jealousy flows after they win. Sad really.
