Jersey City plans to appeal the latest census count -- feels citizens were undercounted

Now, WHY would our fair city want another count besides the fact state and federal monies are handed out based on census numbers? If Jersey City can pick up a few hundred more heads in the count, just a few Jersey City will pass Newark as the largest city in New Jersey.

How cool would that be? Jersey City as the largest city in the Garden State. JC would have so much power it'd be stunning what could be done. Jersey City could raise a standing army and invade both Hoboken and Bayonne and annex them into Jersey City and make those cities pay higher taxes, allowing for Jersey City resident to pay less. The city budget could be balanced on the backs of the residents of South Jersey City (Bayonne) and North Jersey City (Hoboken).

Just think of the possibilities! Feel free to share some of your own...
