Late night open thread

Four years ago Spanish goalkeeper Iker (Ee-ker) Casillas was the toast of the soccer world. He'd just won the World Cup for Spain, and was keeping goal quite well for Real Madrid. In 2012 there was St. Iker as he was now being called, winning another European Championship. At some point between 2012 and today something's gone sideways for Casillas. Yanked after two terrible matches for Spain in Brazil at the World Cup, shaky netminding for Real Madrid last season and this one that have found him on the bench for long stretches. Look, maybe his contact lens prescription ran out. Maybe he's got heebie jeebies of some sort. This sudden fall was and is difficult to explain.

And then came tonight. Spain qualifying for the Euros in 2016 playing in Slovakia (yes THAT Slovakia) which should be a quick trip in for 3 points and back home. Yikes.

Oh Iker you're so blind you're so blind you blow my mind, Hey Iker....Hey Iker!
For those scoring at home, the Spanish word for "sucks" is "chupar."

Time for Jersey City, After Dark
