Dear NY Post--"apology" NOT accepted

#1, that was not an apology. Whenever someone says "We're sorry if you were offended" That's NOT an apology. Using a cartoon to equate President Obama with a chimpanzee is CLEAR in it's idea. You figured you could straddle some line and get a cheap snicker out of it. Then, when your whole world comes crashing down on you, in the form of boycotts and protests, you come out with some half-assed non-apology apology.

You weren't apologizing, you were taking yet another backhanded swipe at your critics in saying they just didn't get your oh so clever cartoon. Yeah, they did. And Johnny's gonna speak for the great majority in the tri-state area in not accepting your apology, because it wasn't one.
