PATH is running on time in and out of Hoboken this morning

After yesterday's train/abutment meeting, the FuHo station was closed for around 12 hours but the workers worked all night and the Hoboken PATH line is up and running on time this morning.

BREAKING NEWS: PATH train hit the platform in Hoboken, 70 injured with UPDATES

Johnny is monitoring Hoboken police radio this Sunday morning and the radio is crackling with news of a 70 injuries and calls for a disaster unit and Mayor Dawn Zimmer to be notified. All EMS and police in Hoboken are on alert. It sounds like they are closing down some train activity in Hoboken.

2:00 pm we're glad to announce that the number of injured was closer to 35-40 than the originally mentioned 70. We got that 70 number straight from Hoboken police and EMS radio. Jersey City PD radio was going nowhere fast so for an unknown reason Johnny flipped over to the Mile Square City just as the response was unfolding. This is why Hoboken can't have nice things.

Office supply store workers injured in freak accident when giant cat head goes plowing through the business

Yes you read that right. An office supply store in Secaucus on Paterson Plank road was destroyed yesterday when a giant cat head (and the Jersey City Desk has tried to warn you people on the dangers of giant cat heads....repeatedly) came barreling through the business Friday afternoon. Store employees Eileen Down and Chuck U. Farley were listed in stable condition at Secaucus General Hospital with a couple broken bones and cuts and scratches this morning. Eileen Down (shown below sitting at the checkout counter in the store video below) also suffered an allergic reaction. A customer near the back of the store, Amanda Hugenkiss told the Jersey City Desk "THAT is f***** up." Secaucus police said they have no leads on where the cat head came from or where it went after trashing the business.

Jersey City Desk Action News Team ON THE SCENE of injury accident at Tonnelle Circle

Yes, the Jersey City Desk Action News team is the FIRST to bring you pictures from the scene (even faster than the Jersey Journal no less). A very bad car accident at Tonnelle Circle, where Tonnelle meets the 1&9 has sent at least three people to the Jersey City Medical Center and three to Christ Hospital. Police and Traffic copters are hovering the scene. There is quite a traffic snarl down Tonnelle Avenue.
