Dawn Zimmer is still not going to concede until she decides whether or not to ask for a recount or challenge votes. The official count now stands at 6,188 to 6,027 in favor of Cammarano. This includes all machine ballot, absentee ballots and all provisional ballots. Said Zimmer: "I had 6,000 people who voted for me and hundreds of people involved in my campaign who wanted to make Hoboken better, I owe it to them to make sure this was a fair and honest election."
Zimmer has two weeks to decide to either challenge votes or ask for a recount. Cammarano is scheduled to be sworn in on July 1.
