And short of cutting and pasting Tom Krisher's Associated Press piece on the history of Chevrolet like.every.other.news.outlet.today. we're just gonna let it pass with a hearty salute to this American icon and mention Johnny's had one great Chevy, a 1992 Beretta that was smoking fast and saved his life in a rollover accident and one horribly awful Chevy, a 2002 Cadavalier which Johnny had to send to live on the farm before moving here to Jersey City...

Now THIS, this is a 1949 Chevrolet Fleetline and it's looking goooooood. Why don't they make awesome 5000 lb cars like this with lots of chrome and tailfins anymore? THIS is a car. You could hide a dead body in this thing and not run into it for weeks (or at least until the smell set in).
