Rutgers football gameday!

Statement day down in Piscataway at High Point Solutions Synergy Analysis Zazzle Stadium at high noon today. If Rutgers wins, and with the fluffy dogs from the Nutmeg State up next for the Scarlet Knights, they'd have a great chance for at least a tie of the Big East title. Then the tie-breakers will do their thing.

But first the Bearcats from the far away and often strange land of Cincinnati.

OK, Rutgers can't run. We implore them every week to run and to keep trying to at least set some kind of offensive rhythm playing downhill football. In the esteemed words of Zorak "Yeah, we're not doing that." Somehow or someway Rutgers is going to need 20-24 points today. Rutgers has a strong defense, 11th in the nation in points per game allowed. Cincinnati will score. It's what they do. But the Rutgers offense on their way to those 20-24 point has to give the defense a breather by controlling the ball somehow. Quite a few of the Scarlet Knights games this season have been decided in the 4th quarter or later. The defense leads the way so keep them at their ready best when you need them most. Reverses count as running yards ya know.

Fearless Forecast:
On senior day San San Te kicks a field goal as time runs out
Rutgers 23
Cincinnati 20
