Beautiful goal! No 'springy' boards or Red Wing screens to blame it on. It was all Fleury FAIL.

VERY tired of hearing how 'old' and 'broken down' the Red Wings are. I want to hear about how 'young' and 'IMMATURE' the Pens are. It was a parade of witless penalties last night. Poster boys for the NHL? NOPE. Not even close.

I think it ends Tuesday night. I've been wrong before but I just have this feeling. The Wings sometimes get in a zone and get rolling and unless I miss my guess this is the replay of the Hawks Wings December 30th Winter Classic January 1st where the Wings threw their chests out when the young Hawks got close and dusted them two straight games to leave no doubt who runs the Central Division

Would be nice to lift the Cup in Pittsburgh AGAIN. Bettman will be in the locker cradling Crosby and it'll be RICH.

I believe the average age of the wings is 30, and the average age of the pens is 29.

The wings have a couple of milkshakes, but they really aren't that old.

I think your right, Johnny. Tuesday is probably the day. I read in one of the papers this morning where Babcock is going to screw with the lines Tuesday - Pavel/Hank. Something like that. It should be interesting.

I'm enjoying the games. I mute the television and listen to bootleg Bob Dylan recordings. It makes it much more enjoyable.

I spoke with a friend of mine that works for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette this morning. He actually thinks the NBC coverage is bias towards Detroit. I was floored.

I'm sure Pittsburgh fans think it's skewed to Detroit, they show replays when the Wings score and those replays are not approved by the Pens organization LOL.

I've never sen a network suck up to a team the way NBC sucks up (on orders from the NHL) to a team and a certain player. I noticed when the 'Crosby Sucks' chant started the other night after his heinous slash on Zetterberg the NBC talking heads just started taking OVER the chant so nobody could hear it. God forbid the truth come out.

I wonder if Babcock will shuffle the lines or if he'll just play head games with Bylsma.

I think they simply need to come out and play hard desperate hockey and that should be enough and not worry about matchups.

NBC's coverage is biased toward Detroit? Wow. Talk about a complete disconnect from reality. The love affair with Cindy Crosby has been going on for more than two years now; NBC had more than one segment or interview with Crosby while the Wings were playing out the Western Conference Final. Were Pittsburgh fans treated to segments on Datsyuk or Zetterberg? I bet NOT.

From the Grand Rapids Press:

"...The sad part of this story is that Penguins coach Dan Bylsma, a Grand Haven native, never played the game the way his team has played in the finals.

The showboating and headhunting has no place in hockey. It's obvious Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are the malcontents who run the show and when their game is on they dance and throw it in the face of their opponents. Did Stevie Yzerman or Wayne Gretzky ever show up other teams?

When the little baby Penguins are frustrated, they can't handle it and lose it on the ice for all to see. Great teams and great players win and lose with class like the Red Wings.

This ridiculous comparison of Sidney Crosby to Gretzky is propaganda spewing out of the NHL front office on the Nothing But Crosby network (NBC).

The Great One respected the game and never would resort to the dirty tactics Crosby delivered in Game 5 and his constant complaining to the officials.

Lets be honest about Crosby. He's got great talent with an immature side to him that probably will never see a Stanley Cup trophy parade as long as the Red Wings are in business. He knows this and it kills him so the little sniper and his Russian buddy Malkin bask in the glory of home ice but have curled into the fetal position on the road in Detroit..."
