The trade deadline has come and gone and besides a couple minor deals neither the Devils nor Rangers went whole hog. Johnny thinks the Rangers were smart to not blow up their team for Rick Nash. Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make.
7:30 start tonight for teevee but it is sure to be a spirited affair with the Devils winning the last couple games against the Rangers and the Rags looking to defend the hallowed MSG ice over which they have two retired #9's.
The intensity now begins to ramp up and hockey gets even better. In the words of Jersey City native Martha Stewart "It's a good thing."
