Looks like the first place in the eastern conference Rangers got a pretty good look at how life might be out west as a middling western conference power, Chicago, came into MSG and ripped the Rangers defense to bits. You'd have thought the Chicago end was filled with shrieking eels the way the Hawks forwards were busting up ice and shredding the Rangers defense like a Ronco Chop-o-Matic® for at LEAST 5 breakaways and an easy 4-2 win. St. Louis still hasn't lost to an eastern conference team this year and don't get Johnny started on the roll the Red Wings are on. The east leaders are really gonna need to load up at the trade deadline to catch up to what awaits out west.
