Here's another band up for the Hall for the first year, 25 years on from their first album, Nirvana. They had a career like a meteor streaking through the sky making a fantastic noise and shaking up music and complacency like perhaps only The Sex Pistols and Elvis had done before them. It all ended too soon. Life seemingly always does. Nirvana in your face tonight with 'Heart Shaped Box' on Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee night.
