No, Nidia, that's NOT what the court said...

Sometimes it's easy to see why Nidia Lopez/Boehringer is such a useful tool for Mayor Healy, she sees things like him, convoluted in fact and constantly vindicating themselves. Lopez as you know by now has an issue with living in Florida so as to avoid paying New Jersey taxes and she was called on this fact by the candidate she defeated in 2009, Norrice Raymaker. Raymaker attached herself to a lawsuit contesting Lopez's residency.

Two state Appellate Division judges dismissed the lawsuit yesterday on a technicality, namely that Raymaker enjoined the lawsuit too late in the process so the suit itself was tossed. Now the court never ruled on ANYTHING pertaining to Lopez's permanent residence. That is unless you ask anyone not named Nidia Lopez;

“I am glad that the courts reaffirmed the truth that I live in Jersey City, am a resident of the city..."

Um, Nidia, again, NO they didn't. YOU and you alone inserted that definition of the ruling.

The Jersey City Desk continues to believe that Lopez does not hold her Ward C seat legally but it appears on a technicality at least she can go back to her job as one of Mayor Healy's bestest lap dogs.
